We make ready-to-use spawn. The spawn comes in sheets of 600 dowels per sheet. . It can be easily inserted into the drilled holes by hand. Each dowel has a top made of cork. The cork will take over the function of the bark. The cork will make the product biologically degradable. The coned shape and the use of sawdust ensures a fast colonization of the spawn into the log. Unwanted fungus will have less chance. Using logs of 120 cm length each sheet should be enough to inoculate about 15 logs.

USE ONLY FRESHLY CUT LOGS. THESE LOGS WILL CONTAIN THE HIGHEST AMOUNT OF SUGERS NEEDED FOR A GOOD GROWTH.

We deliver dried shiitake for consumption. If you order from long distance we would advice dried shiitake because of the duration of mailing.
